OVERVIEW
THE CHALLENGE
Design a mobile first digital platform for artist studio subletting.
This platform needs to help creatives/collectives to list and rent their studio spaces for short term lets. Whilst also making it easy for creatives to search and rent these studios.
By creating a professional platform for studio subletting we hope that it will become the industry standard and allow landlords to trust Art/Where as the appropriate tool for creatives subletting without breaking their tenancy agreements.
SOLUTION
ART/WHERE offers a means to sublet their studio and accommodation on a temporary basis to fellow Creatives. Similar to Airbnb their app allows artists to list their studio for rent up to a year.
Creatives can also add their accommodation into their listing but is not mandatory. This allows them to recoup some or all of their rental costs whilst away.

To progress this design I needed to elaborate on the User Flow and look further into the actual Customer Journeys that Users might take. This then allows me to define various screens that will need to be developed.

Considerations With Onboarding
Through creating these wireframes some considerations came to the fore. Even though I had an awareness I feel they would be ares to do User Research if this were to be a live product.
Lease agreements
This update will make it possible to measure the engagement due to minimal change to the landing page. A/B testing could be used to test location of job search in this and future updates.
Fellow studio and home tenants
Simplified initial job search. This allows users to access the job listings without delay. Once on listing page their selection can be narrowed using additional criteria.
Fair applications and awareness of bias
To access full functionality of the website would only come as users update necessary elements of their profile. A trade off, for engagement with the platform.
